Here at Bridge we are always looking at the industry and how we can bring a bit of added value to our clients through knowledge.
So here is our first product :- a Cat6 right angle patch panel - Branded with Bridge Networks Ltd
Why is it giving the client added value? We have put this together with what we consider to be a ' will suit most applications cable and outlet modules' so that you can rest assured if you would like to use your SCS for the following it will be up to the task.
WiFi - POE
VOIP - POE
IP - CCTV - POE
HDTV
HDbase-T
1Gbit data to each desk
Voice
HDMI over ethernet
IP lighting control
DATA Centre links - 1Gbit
Harness links - panel to panel
We will use the appropriate module for the application and indeed the appropriate patch panel, as we also have keystone panels coming out soon to allow high speed modules to be used.
The cable - BridgeNet is not your average cat6 U/UTP.....those of you who have a sharp eye will notice awg written on the side of the cable or box that the cable comes in....this in our opinion should be 23 awg and is a thicker cable than 24 awg. How is that so you ask....well awg stands for American Wire Gauge and is a notification as to how many times the cable has been pulled at a certain load to make the cable thinner than when it was first smelted, the more times it gets pulled the thinner it gets, hence 24 awg is thinner than 23 awg,,,,so why do we recommend 23 awg? Low Smoke Zero Halogen as standard - Violet.
Well we have noticed that POE ( power over ethernet) devices are springing up everywhere, so why not give them a better chance of getting more current at distance than a ' just compliant' cable, thus eliminating call-backs?
Our patching panels are compliance standard cat6 U/UTP to 250 Mhz, team that up with a cable that is tested to 500Mhz and use cat6a U/UTP keystone modules at the outlet end, and you are likely to achieve higher than compliance standards, and therefore again, you will be less likely to be calling us for that niggling problem.
All our cabling projects are closely monitored for quality installation ' best practice' methods, and will include cable sock as standard.
Patching leads are snagless LSZH 24 awg. Solid core upon request.
A solution that will ' suit most if not all applications '
We can of course supply and install data cabinets, enclosed cabinets, comms, server and also open frames with overhead ladder rack. With a recent move to lighter coloured enclosures in the industry we are now supplying and installing RAL 7035 light grey as standard.
